Back in the day I remember slumber parties and sleepovers. They included movies and popcorn, treats and silliness. Waking up to yummy breakfasts usually slathered in syrup. But then there were the hurt feelings and the mischief that would sneak in. So before Ashtyn was even old enough to have a say I decided to stick with lateovers. Because really nothing good ever happens after midnight anyway right?? I also don't have a desire to be picking up or taking home scared, wet, nightmare frightened kids after I have fallen asleep. Selfish I know.
Alayna had worked all day and earned many many tickets (Double ticket day) I loved her excitement. She had made a list of all the things they were going to do. Through out the night she would leave her party to find her list and cross things off. At the end of the night we filled the girls up with sugar and sent them home ;) They each made their own banana split. Whipped cream, sprinkles, every kind of syrup, cherries.... I love to watch Alayna enjoy life. She has a funny sense of humor and outgoing personality. She can talk to anyone. She says her favorite subject in school is making friends. She begs to go to the gym with me so she can make more. I love being her mom.

I gave your blog an award!
I wish I had known about late-overs when my girls were younger, so much smarter...and safer.
