Alayna and her friends found and caught 2 katydids. She has taken the responsibility to tend them very seriously.

Changing their food water and cleaning out the ice-cream bucket house.
Surprisingly for a bug they make a big gross mess.

It was very entertaining to watch Alayna's friend jumping and screaming as Alayna was transferring and touching them. They almost lost one...but 'luckily' was recaptured.
It will be interesting to see how long before they are set free or funeral arrangements made...
