Sunday Night Sillies

Do any of you remeber these days? After sunday dinner something just happens and you get a little crazy. One thing leads to another and there you are (Heather included) wearing a wreath on your head waving scarves as Mom plays the "Can Can" and other songs from the ballet book. This picture may be one of the more mild nights :) It didn't matter if you were home or at Grandma and Grandpa house on Ustick (Mom and aunt Steph playing piano duets with their toes) or even at the cabin sunday night sillies were crazy fun. The best was when dad joined in. If only I had a picture of that....

So as I was cleaning up from dinner I could hear Jay and the girls downstairs screaming and laughing. After a few thuds I went down to see what was going on. The girls had already put on a dancing show, so the resorted the this.....

As you can see they put pillows for a soft landing but they never actually hit them. They should have put them on the edges of the desk and door that right there.

Now you might think that this was an idea just thought up through boredom on a sunday night, but NO this actually started when Alayna was about 2 weeks old. I had put her on the 'love sac' and Jay decided he would "plop" down beside her. Without thinking Alayna went about 3 feet in the air. Good thing for Jays cat like reflexes that allowed him to catch her.
There is just something about sitting in church for 3 hours, being good all day, or at least trying to or in some cases just being told to be good that makes sunday night silly.

no children were harmed this sunday.....

I miss those sundays so much! I will never forget the wreath heads. How about when Heather was going to town with the balloon. I think we have that on video. We really do need to live closer.

I think I've found a new tradition to start in our family, those pictures are funny! Sunday Night Sillies could lead to a new level of craziness at our house! I'm glad you went up and surprised your sister for her b-day, sister's are the best! Talk to you soon, are we still planning on our March get together? Oh, no worries with BYU, you didn't see a picture right:) Now, if it was LaVell, I would for sure be getting a pic!

When my grandpa lived with us, I remember one night when he put on a wig and crawled around barking like a dog. Wow that was wierd.
